we live a life of agency. we can either choose one road or another. we can choose to be happy or we can choose to be sad. when we make conscious choices, we understand reasoning for it. when it's not clear how we got to where we are, it's easier to blame.
i'm not saying i'm always happy but if happiness is one of our choices, i can tell you i will seek it.
